Coffee grown, harvested, roasted and ultimately brewed by people who fundamentally appreciate and understand the joys of this beverage, is a rare gift. In an effort to document their search for the world’s ultimate tastemakers, LA design studio Department of the Fourth Dimension (or DPT. DDDD) have crafted some truly beautiful videos from Venice’s Intelligentsia coffeehouse. Showcasing the syphon and espresso brewing methods, these black and whites (with the lovely exception of the coffee) showcase people who understand the ceremony and nuance of the perfect cup. If watching these pieces doesn’t make you care just a little more about your brown water, than you may as well go back to sipping Folgers Crystals.
