Perhaps it’s because my girlfriend and I had to, at the last minute, eat our tickets to April’s New York City premiere, but it seems like ages since Gary Hustwit’s industrial design-centric followup to Helvetica began making its way around the world. After a short run in the US and then hitting up some proper design hot spots like Brazil, London, Zurich and Barcelona, Gary brought Objectified back to the States and began showing in Tulsa, Atlanta and Columbus (really… Columbus) before the announcement that it would indeed be screening at the Corcoran Gallery on Monday, July 6th. Get your tickets now, as this is one night only and includes the always interesting Q&A session with Mr. Hustwit after the film.
